Jeroen van Maanen

Jeroen van Maanen, farmer and director at the Dutch Dairy Farmers Union. Jeroen is best known for his important role as a spokesman for the agricultural sector. Jeroen is a regular contributor on television and radio explaining the serious challenges that farmers in the Netherlands are up against. He was one of the initiators and also the spokesman for the farmers’ protest in Stroe in the summer of 2022.

Jeroen also served as spokesman for the farmers’ organizations that jointly held the first talks with Johan Remkes on nitrogen. He was also an active member of the Farmers Defense Force advocating for the agricultural sector during the Agricultural Collective.
